Tencent WeTest Exchange and Sharing Event
In a recent event sponsored by Tencent WeTest, a testing station and exchange of visits were successfully held at the headquarters of Tencent Shanghai Branch Park. The event brought together nearly 30 guests from Pacific Insurance, China Eastern Airlines, Public Security Technology, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, Guotai Junan, and Han Wei Technology, among others.

The event was led by Tencent WeTest product team leader Paro, who discussed the historic opportunity and organizational stages of development testing platform, WeTest test station reports, and Tencent test DevOps practices compatible application testing and AI in the test. The six themes and guests sharing and technology exchange covered:
- Historic Opportunity to Build a Test and Development Stage Organization in Taiwan
Paro WeTest Product Team Leader discussed how Tencent’s rapid development over the years led to a large R&D team, resulting in heavy efficiency. To validate product ideas quickly and deliver high-quality products and services to users, Tencent isolated DevOps, EP by DO, and transitioned to a FT organizational structure. This allowed for better man and everyone’s Cooperative Engagement Capability, individual empowerment, self-organization, and decentralized collaboration.
- WeTest Test Introduced in Taiwan
Amy WeTest platform product manager described the main technical and operational framework of WeTest test history, evolution of the platform, and refinement of the test station. She explained how to use limited resources in the development of multi-service 2w Tencent internal, testers, millions of internal and external applications, and the formation of a technology-enabled partner ecosystem. This ecosystem precipitated SaaS service quality and reputation to win partners.
- Tencent DevOps Automated Testing Practices
Ryanjin measured cloud product manager shared the main elements of the whole process of automatic test pipeline operating configuration, testing of embodiments described in the standards and experience of the DevOps. He discussed the test management experience on the assembly line, test scripts automatically include production, maintenance, and related principles and program implementation.
- Application Compatibility Testing and AI in the Test
Bingyan cloud survey line product manager discussed the following main points:
• How to select models, covering the number of users, characteristics of the device itself, and the new machine three selection criteria.
• How to drive App up and running, including manual and automated methods.
• How to identify compatibility issues, including Crash, ANR, and UI efficient method to identify the problem.
- Link-Pressure Measurement and Interface Testing
Qimei performance product line manager described how it affects the performance of the user experience and the importance of the introduction of the performance test. He launched six steps and the business side of the practice of full link pressure measurement, and discussed the four major challenges and related solutions.
- Client Performance Solutions
Young client performance product manager discussed how to analyze performance problems in the development stage, refining, and introduced the self-development of performance testing tool PerfDog. He explained how to quickly identify problems shared by QAPM, assess problems affecting surface, location of the real user problems, and verify the optimization results after repair.
Part 2: Open Area to Visit
In addition to technology sharing and exchange of experience, technical experts WeTest product group also led the distinguished guests visited the test Tencent open display area, showing the different test procedures several games. The event demonstrated the ability to automate compliance testing, cloud gaming, big data, and performance network-wide public opinion and other quality tools.
