Established in 2016, Shenzhen Kam Technology has been at the forefront of neural network pruning and deep compression technology. The company has received significant funding, securing $10 million in its A round and $40 million in its A+ round in 2017. Its self-developed AI chip, “Waterside” and “View of the Sea,” was launched in October 2017, and the company plans to market this year.

Shenzhen Kam Technology has been based on Xilinx technology platforms for machine learning solutions, and the two companies have cooperated closely. Deep Kam Technology’s main business has been in the security market, but the company has decided to follow its investors, Xilinx, into the automotive market. According to Yao Chung, “Basically, 2/3 of our automotive customers are being introduced to us.” The company has signed a new contract with depot technology and deep Kam, including possible back production plans based on Xilinx FPGA equipped with deep-level car rules Kam self-developed processor designed for deep learning.
